Minimum qualifications

• Total Time: 750 hours total time (or 250 hours total time for graduates of a recognized aviation degree/diploma program, or similar)
• License/Exams: Completion of either the IATRA or both ATPL exams (SAMRA and SARON). Exams must be valid.
• Accepted License Authority: TCCA
• Medical: Class 1
• Language: ICAO English Language Proficiency level 4 or higher

Additional requirements

• Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and retain an Airport RAIC under Transport Canada’s Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program
• Travel Documents: Current valid passport; if you are not a holder of a Canadian passport, a valid Canadian Permanent Resident Card
• Visas: All required visas or travel documents allowing unrestricted travel
