Job Description The incumbent will provide support to the Department of Physics' Workshop. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for fabricating and manufacturing parts for members of the Physics Department, the Faculty and occasionally for external users or entities.
- The applicant should have hands‑on experience in understanding technical drawings and the ability to convert these drawings (CAD/CAM) into parts using various materials.
- The applicant should demonstrate the ability to operate modern manufacturing equipment including but not limited to CNC machining, laser and wire cutting, and traditional tools found in mechanical workshops.
