Associate Professor, Tenure Track, in literature

The Department of Music, Art and Culture Studies is seeking an Associate Professor in literature, starting 2 August 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter. The position is a fixed‑term appointment for five years, after which an evaluation will assess the potential to obtain a permanent professorship in accordance with the University’s tenure track policy.

The role focuses on teaching literature at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels, supervising undergraduate and graduate students, curriculum development, and administrative duties. The primary objective is to promote high‑level scholarly research in literature, develop teaching and graduate education through your own work, and actively seek external research funding to support the department.
