The Associate Director of Student Academic Affairs plays a critical role in the delivery of service and supports to students. This position leads Student Academic Affairs units through an informed understanding of evidence-informed practices, student-ready approaches related to academic integrity, appeals processes, learning support, and academic success programming, while applying evolving frameworks that balance accountability, procedural fairness, holistic student development, and academic success within higher education environments. The role fosters collaborative problem solving with instructors, Department Heads, School Directors, and leaders across the Students Division in responding to student academic conduct matters, complaints, and appeals related to student learning journey policies, ensuring fair and consistent process and alignment with UFV’s vision, mission, and values.
