Position Details

The Assistant Contract Manager will support the contract needs for Loblaw Retail Services, Construction & Design, and Store Supplies, reporting to the Sr. Manager, Contracts. This role focuses on preparing, examining, analyzing, negotiating, and amending contracts for the purchase or sale of goods and services, while collaborating with Sourcing Managers, stakeholders, and various departments to ensure alignment with Loblaw’s objectives.

Accountabilities

  • Draft and negotiate required contract documents (Master Agreements, Statements of Works, Letters, Confidentiality Agreements, Amendments, etc.) applying basic contract law and company policy.
  • Assist stakeholders with contract inquiries and guide them through processes such as terminations and scope commitments.
  • Develop contract summaries, including risk summaries, for senior executives.
