About the Position
The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) seeks candidates for temporary, full‑time positions at the Surrey National Verification and Collections Centre (9755 King George Blvd, Surrey, BC). Positions are 6‑month to 1‑year contracts with potential extensions and require employees to work on‑site. Responsibilities
- Administration and collection of outstanding amounts for all account types
- Enforcement of compliance relating to information slips and outstanding returns
- Communicating with taxpayers in writing, by phone, or in a call‑centre environment
- Examination and correction of tax and information returns
- Validation and review of income, benefit eligibility, deductions, and/or refunds
- Providing general administrative assistance and clerical support
- Data entry into computer systems
