Responsibilities

Aid in the creation of architectural designs. Study technical documents and reports such as building codes, bylaws, space requirements, site requirements, and others. From conceptual drawings and instructions, create manual and CAD (computer-assisted design) drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and lists of material quantities. Build architectural models for displays and 3-D virtual models of architectural designs. Create the bid and contract documents. May be in charge of the architectural team's drafters, technicians, and technologists. It is possible to coordinate, monitor, and inspect other people's work while supervising construction projects.
