How You Will Contribute Ciena is seeking an Analog Engineer to ensure compliance of our in‑house designed Serializer/Deserializer (SerDes) with relevant industry interop specifications such as IEEE and OIF. As part of the Analog Integration team, you will collaborate closely with the Analog & DSP design teams, Firmware teams, and Signal Integrity teams to help productize our SerDes for optimal performance while maintaining compliance.

In This Role, You Will

Ensure Ciena's in‑house designed SerDes are compliant with all relevant IEEE standards.

Collaborate with design and integration teams to optimize SerDes performance.

Run stress tests on high‑speed SerDes, including 112/224G PAM4 SerDes drivers and receivers, to optimize functionality and ensure system integrity.

Perform detailed testing and analysis to validate SerDes functionality and compliance.

Bring up and validate new ASICs and modules.
