Project Overview

We're engaging experts in Afrikaans to record short scripted reads. Think light voice acting/voiceover: clean diction, natural delivery, and consistent quality. Looking for expressive and conversational! If you’ve got a quiet space and a decent mic, we want to hear you.

Target Profile

Near-native proficiency in Afrikaans. Must speak 2 languages well (preferably non-English). Native fluency in the listed language and either: 1 – equal proficiency in the other, 2 – near native in the other, or 3 – working proficiency in the other.

What You’ll Do

• Record short lines and paragraphs in your dominant language (various tones: friendly, neutral, authoritative).
• Participate in paired or group script readings with other Afrikaans‑speakers, typically short scripts of around 5 minutes.
• Follow direction and retake as needed for timing, emphasis, and clarity.
