Advocacy and Communications Coordinator –

Location: Abbotsford

Position Type: Internal/External, Temporary (until March 31, 2027)

Wage: $25.00 to $26.00 per hour

Hours: 14 hours per week from June to August, 35 hours per week from September to December, and 14 hours from January to March. Availability Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the web submission form for all food drive inquiries and coordinate responses with Food Bank supervisors and other departments for promotion, acknowledgement, and food collection support.
• Monitor and respond to food and toy drive inquiries, tracking outcomes for each drive.
• Support the flow of food and toy donations following drives by communicating between drivers, warehouse staff, and Food Security and Christmas Bureau supervisors during peak seasons.
