A key member of Western Union’s finance organization in Mexico, the Accounting Specialist is responsible for overseeing the accounting operations of a legal entity, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. This role plays a critical part in maintaining strong internal controls and supporting the business through reliable financial management. The position requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and local regulations, while contributing to operational excellence and continuous process improvement.

• Accounting and bookkeeping activities, including posting entries to general ledgers, balancing statements and financial reports, calculating revenue recognition and billing.
• Responsible for accurate reporting of revenues & recoverable expenses and the collection, recording, and reporting of accounting transactions.
