The Account Director is the client relationship.
They ensure all projects run smoothly - managing communication, pacing, and quality across departments - while maintaining the confidence and calm that clients expect from the agency.
The Account Director owns the how: they are responsible for the daily rhythm of delivery, internal coordination, and client satisfaction.
They work alongside the Integrated Marketing Director (IMD), who owns the why and what - strategy, creative direction, and high-level client vision - while the AD ensures every detail of that vision is executed flawlessly.
