Academic Coordinator, Psychology

Part‑time (0.2 FTE) term position ending November 1, 2027.

Responsibilities

Oversee teaching, administration and maintenance for the following courses:

• PSYC 304 – Research Methods in Psychology
• PSYC 379 – Social Psychology
• PSYC 315 – Psychology and the Mass Media
• PSYC 340 – Applied Social Psychology
• PSYC 432 – Psychology and the Built Environment

Additional duties include:

• Supervise and monitor course tutors (teaching and marking student assignments)
• Handle student issues (grade appeals, academic misconduct, transfer credit requests, accommodations for students with disabilities, etc.)
• Provide service to the Centre for Social Sciences (attend meetings held by the Centre and by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences)
